The SHREW refillable leather journal is hand cut from premium, full grain Italian vegetable tanned leather from a family-run tannery in Tuscany. Veg tan leather is an eco-friendly material that takes on a beautiful, rich patina as it ages and also smells wonderful.
This a journal for life! The journals come with plain, high quality Italian acid-free writing paper which has been sewn bound with 125 pages.
When the journal is full you simply remove it and replace with another A5 or A6 book (available from Shrew or any good stationer). You can also replace it with two smaller notebooks instead if you wish, due to the way the journal is constructed. The Journal comes packaged in an organic cotton drawstring dust bag with SHREW logo and makes a beautiful gift (for someone or for you!).
All the products we sell are hand-crafted. This means that they are unique and special, but also means that in rare cases the design / colour / size may differ slightly from the photograph featured on their product page. All dimensions given are approximate.

We reuse packaging as much as possible – while the box and bubble wrap might not appear brand new, it’s helping to protect both your purchase and the planet. Paperwork is not included with your order, instead you will receive an email confirmation upon purchase.
Supporting makers
All products we sell are handmade in the UK, and the vast majority here in the Southwest. Buying from us directly supports small batch, independent, local makers. All profits made by us go back into supporting our educational aims as a charity.
Please note that items may be returned within 28 days of the day of purchase with production of a receipt. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns for earrings.
