The Teign Book by Neil Yeandle
This book is written by Neil Yeandle from the restoration project of the river Teign and Salmon fisheries by the Teign Angling and Conservation Association, (TACA) in conjunction with other partners.
The book details the work undertaken during the project, the life cycles of salmon and sea trout and fishing techniques and stories. However, the book is also aimed at a much wider readership and includes chapters on the geology, archaeology, mining and the rich flora and fauna to be found in the Teign catchment.
Highly illustrated with colour photographs by Mike Rego and a series of drawings. Published by the Teign Angling and Conservation Association. The RTRP is a four-year Lottery funded project aimed at improving the future of the endangered salmon in the River Teign.
