A traditional Shaker box with extra height for pleasing proportions, natural cherry wood finish, oiled and waxed.
Andrew makes shaker boxes to the same patterns and methods that the Shaker community used 200 years ago.
These elegant boxes were used to contain everything from foodstuffs to needlework and nails! Today they can be used for a multitude of things such as jewellery and as sewing boxes and for keeping precious things safe. They are also just good to look at. Each box is unique and finished using natural oils and wax polish to enhance the beauty of the wood.
