This storybox is set inside a wonderful antique green Waltham Mainsprings Tin (originally for pocket watch movement spares), from the early 1900's. The tiny little frog is a vintage cold painted lead figure from the 1930's, and he sits upon a hand-embroidered lily pad made from vintage French fabric. The water is the lining from a Victorian cutlery case, which has a beautiful ripple to it, and which has been hand-painted to be reminiscent of rippling pond water. The little pink flower is a 1930's millinery flower that has been shaped in to a waterlily. The tiny little gold ball is an antique Murano glass bead that has been gilded with real gold leaf. Below that, the word 'kiss' is sculpted from wire.
