Esme has always been inspired by the shapes and colours found in nature, taking the details found in natural forms into her work. Living in Devon she has access to such varied landscapes and coastlines where she can spend hours picking up shells, stones, driftwood and flowers, accompanied by her collie, Moxey. These objects are often just a catalyst for her designs and the finished work may have minimal resemblance to the original piece.
