The wax is then steamed out, and glass is loaded into the void created by the wax. This is called the lost wax process. They then spend 3 days in a kiln. I love this process- the mixture of very classic methodology and jeopardy is very appealing. And I loved how I was able to bring a similar combination of lilacs and blues into her form.
